About Nicole

Eugene and Corvallis Locations

Nicole is an energetic and authentic practitioner. She is a graduate of the University of Oregon's Couples and Family Therapy Program where she owned her skills of connecting with clients to help empower and reduce emotional distress.

Nicole focuses on creating a safe and comfortable space for clients to repair negative life experiences in the therapeutic process. She uses a creative and flexible approach to engage children in therapy and has experience working with a variety of presenting concerns including experience of childhood trauma, Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, OCD, anxiety and depression. She also has worked collaboratively with school staff to address behavioral concerns and advocate for educational needs.

Nicole also works with teens and young adults with eating disorders as well as substance abuse issues and uses an integrated approach including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness to build coping skills and self-awareness. She believe that relationships, traumatic events, and environmental stressors impact our ability to function and that skills we've learned to survive can turn on us and develop into problems of their own. She uses an empathic and strength-based approach to acknowledge a client's reality and help them to move forward.

When she's not helping her clients, Nicole enjoys spending time with family, hiking and watching documentaries. A graduate of both Oregon State University and the University of Oregon, working in both our Corvallis and Eugene offices seems to make perfect sense!
