Alison is a warm and non-judgemental therapist with a friendly, direct, and active approach.
Relationships can make or break our sense of well-being. Whether you’re struggling in your relationship with a partner, friend, family member, or yourself, investing the time and energy to make things better can pay dividends for the rest of your life. Come solo or with your spouse or partner, and Alison will collaborate with you to shift painful patterns, highlight your strengths and make sense of the larger systems in which we live.
Before becoming a therapist, Alison enjoyed a long career as a theatre stage and production manager. She later went back to school for a master’s in counseling, and spent several years working with couples and individuals in Chicago. Alison attends closely to her relationships with clients to create a strong foundation for trust, exploration, and change.
When Alison isn’t working, she enjoys being out in nature, spending time with her husband and dog, and playing the cello.
